It says I am out of State but I am in New Jersey?
FollowThere could be a number of reasons why we are unable to locate you straight away. This FAQ will endeavor to address the most common ones.
In order to verify your location we rely on Wi-Fi signals. You do not need to be using Wi-Fi (wireless internet) for your own connection to the Internet, but it needs to be turned on, on your computer, so that we can track the Wi-Fi networks in your area and use them to find you.
How do I enable Wi-Fi?
Please see below for information on enabling Wi-Fi Networks in Windows 7 & 8. Information for other operating systems will show to the right of this video, or via a search on Youtube:

Once you have switched Wi-Fi on, please click on your Wi-Fi icon (typically this is in the task bar at the bottom of your computer screen) and check the number of networks that you can see. The more there are, the easier it is to verify your location even if you are not connected to them.
Should you be in a basement or somewhere with low signal we'd recommend trying higher up in the house or somewhere with line-of-sight to another building. If we can only see one Wi-Fi network, this may be why we are not able to verify you with it.
What happens if this does not work?
If we are still unable to locate you successfully, there are further steps which may be helpful. Firstly, if you have GPS or Wi-Fi capabilities on your cell, then it would be best to enable these before proceeding to the next step.
Once this has been done, we can try to locate you via Google Maps. To do this, please;click;here to go to;Google Maps and then click the grey dot above the yellow man symbol. This will try and locate you on Google Maps. Please do this from your phone first, and then your computer.
When you do this from your phone and computer, it may say 'Google wishes to locate you'. You would need to click 'Allow' and then the map will zoom into your location.
If you are on the newest Google Maps which doesn't show the dot above the symbol of a man, then you would firstly need to click the question mark symbol towards the bottom right and then click 'Return to classic Google Maps'. This will then take you to the classic maps where you can click the gray dot. For further information about how to locate yourself on Google Maps, please click here.
Once this has been done you may be able to access the games instantly, though it can take up to 24 hours for the Google Maps database to update and locate you, so please do try again shortly.
If you have tried all the above steps and you are still unable to access the games please contact us via our Live Chat service to the right of this page so we can look into this further.
